Francis Tuttle offers two Academies as part of
Career Training Programs. The Academies differ from other
Career Training Programs because they incorporate academic teaching alongside technical training – integrating relevant core academics and technology subjects.
Architecture and Construction Academy
The
Architecture and Construction Academy is designed to expose you to multiple architecture and construction careers, provide technical skill training and certification, provide rigorous academic preparation and serve as a bridge program to post-secondary architecture and construction certification, degree programs and/or work. Students include high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and adults.
Pre-Engineering Academy
The
Pre-Engineering Academy is designed to prepare you for the rigorous classes you will need to complete in college in order to graduate with a bachelor’s degree or higher in engineering. Along with preparation for college courses, you will have the opportunities to determine if engineering is truly the career you wish to pursue. Students include high school sophomores, juniors and seniors.
Biosciences and Medicine Academy
The
Biosciences and Medicine Academy is designed to prepare you for success in colleges and universities. Rigorous math and science (Honors and AP level only) are combined with medical related classes to provide you with the academics you will need and an understanding of the broad field of biosciences and medicine. This program of study is to help you determine what field you want to pursue. High school students may attend for up to three (3) school years. Graduates from the Academy should be planning to pursue a college or university track to obtain a degree in some field within the biosciences and medicine.
