Fernanda Carment is an Industrial Coordinator for the Business & Industry Services at Francis Tuttle Technology Center. A primary area of focus for Fernanda is customizing training solutions for industry particularly manufacturing organizations.
Fernanda’s international experience includes working with multinational companies such as Alcoa, RCA, and John Deere. Her experience in manufacturing creates a connection with Industry in Oklahoma assisting customers in their improvement and success.
Fernanda’s experience with Francis Tuttle and two other Oklahoma Technology Centers provides her a broad base of knowledge to understand and meet client’s needs. She has coordinated training in manufacturing, management, leadership, safety, oil and gas drilling, production and well servicing as well as language and communication. While with the Mid-Continent Oil & Gas Training Center, Fernanda was coordinator of recruiting and placement as well as a translator of technical manuals and training materials. She also had instructional duties. During this time she recruited more than a 1,000 students to take oil and gas skills training. She also has an active role as a Petro-Pro Volunteer with OERB. (Oklahoma Energy Resources Board).
Industries with which Fernanda has worked include the automotive industry, the electronics industry, the oil and gas drilling industry, the oil and gas well servicing industry, the well servicing industry, and the agricultural equipment industry.
Fernanda earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering with an additional concentration in Production Processing at Iberoramericana University in Torreon, Mexico. She is proficient in both Spanish and English.
As a part of the Career Technology System, Fernanda has worked with companies such as BP-Amoco, Chesapeake Energy, Devon Energy, Bronco Drilling, Key Energy Services, UDI, Unit Drilling, and Trinidad Drilling.
She has ten years experience in manufacturing, administration and training.
