Jay has been a Career Tech educator for eighteen years with the last three of those being at Francis Tuttle. He spent twelve years in the classroom teaching Technology Education before going to the State Department of Career and Technology Education as a program supervisor in the Trade & Industrial/Technology Education division. He currently works with students on the Portland campus to help fill their requests with career advisement, enrollment, and academic needs. Jay is married with four children and also has one grand-daughter. He enjoys outdoor activities and is an avid hunter and fisherman.
