Agency Funding




The following agencies support students at Francis Tuttle:



United Urban Indian Council and Bureau of Indian Affairs

Applicants should contact their tribal agency for benefits or call 405.810.9202. The Francis Tuttle Financial Aid office will certify the appropriate paper work from the agency. Benefits are intended to provide training to certain Native Americans.



Workforce Investment Act - Workforce Oklahoma

Apply through Workforce Oklahoma office, contact 1.888.840.9675 for center locations. Office location information is also available at the Career Planning Center. Funding is available for those who qualify to assist with retraining or to update employability skills. WIA may pay for tuition, books and supplies.



Oklahoma GI Bill

Students may apply for educational assistance through Career Planning Center at Francis Tuttle. This program provides funding through the Oklahoma State Department of Vocational and Technical Training to Oklahoma Veterans who meet specific requirements. Must provide DD214 information.



Veterans Benefits and Veterans Vocational Rehabilitation

Apply through the Veterans Regional office in Muskogee (1.800.827.1000). These benefits are intended to provide educational support for Veterans. After eligibility is determined,  contact the VA Advisor at Francis Tuttle (405.717.4263). Most educational benefits are paid in the form of a monthly stipend, with the amount being determined by years of service, amount paid in by applicant and type of service in the military.



Vocational Rehabilitation

Funding is intended to help those who have disabilities or injuries. Educational benefits may pay for tuition or books as determined by Vocational Rehabilitation. Contact Ellen Cooper at 405.789.4350 for information on how to apply.
