Golf Tournament to benefit Project Hope Students




Francis Tuttle Technology Center’s Project HOPE is sponsoring the 4th Annual “The General” Memorial Golf Tournament on Monday, June 4, at Quail Creek Golf and Country Club in Oklahoma City. The tournament and auction supports a scholarship fund for students who had dropped out of high school or were at risk of dropping out, who are now in process of entering college.

Project HOPE boasts a tremendous success rate for over the past ten years. Many of these students have the desire and motivation to continue higher education, but do not have the financial support to do so. The Donovan Memorial Scholarship Fund was formed in memory of General George M. Donovan, an adamant believer in second chances who was especially interested in the students in Project HOPE.

The $130 per player entry fee includes lunch and hat, with all proceeds supporting the scholarship fund, used strictly for college aid. Tax-deductible donations will also be accepted.
